Moseley was recently woken by a rousing sigh of relief from food lovers everywhere. After many years of stooping to some all time culinary lows, Moseley’s favourite eatery, the Royal Naweed, has shut it’s doors once and for all.
The Naweed was known for years as the one place in Moseley where it didn’t matter what you ordered as you always got the same lovingly prepared dish. Namely, some sort of gravy with something floating in it.
Although most people are happy to see the back of it, certain members of the Moseley community are upset at it’s sudden demise. The relatively healthy bulimic community are said to be in up roar that the only place where they could have a good night out without the stigma has shut down.
Fortunately it looks set to be replaced by an Italian restaurant which has got to be a good thing as Moseley hasn’t got one of them (yes, we do know about Little Italy and we still stand by our previous comment).
