We’ve all seen confectionery that is mildly scary. Reisen chocolate chews, Worther’s Originals and Egg Biscuits to name but a few. But we have recently unearthed the legendary “Terrifying Lost Cake of Kings Heath”. This cake, once believed to be no more than just a myth, was first reported in an incident in 1922. The local newspaper of the time (“The Myopic Heathen”) described the cake as “lyken unto the fayse of an clowne…but hideous”.

It made its escape from the children’s birthday party, where it was reported, by an unknown method. The cake was later seen hidden in inside a different cake in 1937, disguised as a cat in 1954 and then disappeared from view for many years. Until now.

It is unknown why the cake has suddenly reappeared after so many years but Police have been quoted saying “…stay away from that cake. It is a cake of nefer…nerfai…nfear…bad origin.” Eye On Moseley thoroughly conq…conku…agrees with them.
